Discovery Channel Special on Another Greathouse 
The Discovery channel filmed the green remodel of the Goodnight House, Another Greathouse’s latest project in the Brentwood neighborhood in Austin, for the new show called “Greenovate”. Airing on Planet Green early in June, the fun and fast 30 minute episode gets up close and personal with the work of green builder Dominique Levesque and architect Guillermo Casas’s designs. The Goodnight house features unique and custom architecture, energy efficient
solutions and a beautiful, healthy, livable space.

5-Star Green Home Completed in Brentwood 
Another Greathouse’s Goodnight House earned a 5-star green rating by the Austin Energy Green Building Program. Levesque renovated the 1940’s house using environmentally sensitive techniques and materials. He incorporated the old structure into the new floor plan using sustainable, recycled and local materials. He retained the original oakwood flooring and matchied it with salvaged wood from similar 1940’s homes. The standing seam roof, double pane windows and icynene spray foam insulation maximize the energy efficency of the house. Other green solutions include the use of low-VOC paints and formaldehyde free cabinetry to ensure a healthy environment. Tankless water heaters, energy star appliances and light fixtures conserve interior energy, while water wise landscape plants, rainwater collection barrels and decorative rain chains add exterior charm to the greenovation.
