As Seen on TV
The Discovery channel filmed the green remodel of our Goodnight House project in Austin’s Brentwood neighborhood for their original show entitled “Greenovate.” Airing on Planet Green early in June 2008, the fun and fast 30 minute episode got up close and personal with the work of green builder Dominique Levesque and architect Guillermo Casas. The Goodnight house featured unique and customized architecture, energy efficient solutions and a tranquil, healthy, and livable space. |

We're seeing stars...
The Austin Energy Green Building Program awarded our Goodnight House a 5-star green rating. Levesque renovated the 1940’s house using environmentally sensitive techniques and materials. The old structure was incorporated into the new floor plan by means of sustainable, recycled and local materials. In addition, AGH retained the original oak wood flooring and matched it with salvaged wood from similar 1940’s homes. The standing seam roof, double pane windows and icynene spray foam insulation maximize the energy efficiency of the house.

| Our other green solutions include the use of low-VOC paints and formaldehyde-free cabinetry to ensure a healthy environment. Tankless water heaters, energy star appliances and light fixtures conserve interior energy, while water-wise landscape plants, rainwater collection barrels and decorative rain chains add exterior charm to the greenovation. |
